About Us

Charles Freeman, the owner and operator of MyHOAGuide. Charles spent 35 years in the information collection, management and access industry automating internal and public information processes. He started his career in the basement of the National Library of Medicine in 1991 tracking, managing and binding medical journals. He moved his way up the career ladder at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency managing, automating consolidating and operationalizing its paper-based regulation processes in 2000. Later, Charles led the charge in developing the most robust industry electronic reporting system in the federal government in 2015. Before Charles retired from EPA, he was researching and testing how artificial intelligence can improve information discovery at the Agency. We have the broad information management experience needed for your personalized MyHOAGuide.

Charles has served on three homeowners association (HOA) boards and many HOA committees giving back to his own community. He worked with small and large property management companies and managed all aspects of his own rental properties. Our Team knows how HOAs operate and their pain points.
